South Bay Wedding at the New Rolling Hills Country Club

South Bay Wedding at the New Rolling Hills Country Club
We started planning our wedding a few weeks after our engagement. Our wonderful wedding planner, Mandana from Tres Jolie Events, worked with us to find the perfect setting, Rolling Hills Country Club! She also recommended our amazing photographer, Christina and her team at Hello Blue Photography. They kept us on track and we felt so comfortable with them. Christina even surprised us the next day with a ton of teaser images! ~from Roxi and Farbod

Gorgeous Looks For Today’s Non-Traditional Bride

From Natalie, the event designer:
This shoot was designed to explore the joining of masculine elements with feminine details by pairing soft textures with clean lines. I envisioned an inspiration for the non-tradional bride who wants something a little bold; something a little moody romantic without being overly feminine.

We styled our model to offer several options: a minimalist bridal jumpsuit, and gowns with more flowy silhouettes. The structured jumpsuit borrowed masculine elements in its design. While the soft material of the dresses portrayed a movement reflective of femininity. Modern jewelry complimented all outfits, and included a unique geometric engagement ring and crown-inspired wedding band. Our model’s bold makeup look and tousled hair were balanced by her delicate bouquet (which included sweet pea, hellebores, and textural elements). For the table, a neutral color palette of beige and mauve was used. This was paired with a wealth of textures: velvet linens, a soft gauze table runner, ombre glass tumblers, and matte dinner plates paired with rose gold flatware. The wild floral arrangement was the focal point of our tablescape, and featured dried elements and bold shapes. Enjoy!

Spectacular Bali Wedding at the Stunning Soori Bali Resort
One of the things that makes my job so fun is the vast range of weddings that we get to be a part of – from a rustic barn in Maine to the shores of Bali, no two weddings are alike. And if you take the time to dig in a little, I’ve never seen a single wedding story that directly mimics another. The people, the emotions, the moments are all different, all entirely unique. This wedding – photographed to dreamy perfection by Erich McVey and designed flawlessly by Flying Bride – embraces the beaches of Bali and forces you out from behind your computer and into the infinite beauty of an oceanside affair.

A Kid Friendly Home from House of Hire
As an interior stylist with two little ones (and one on the way!) Lauren Elizabeth – stylist and face behind House of Hire – is who I want to be when I grow up. She approaches design with such a relaxed and meaningful style that every room in her home feels intentional and totally authentic to her family. As a mom of three, I can tell you without hesitation that building a home that not only tolerates little kids but that embraces them in a way that allows them to play and jump and make messes the way that kids do, while still being chic and well designed, is no easy feat. But Lauren did just that and the result is a space that is simultaneously magazine worthy and totally livable. Want more? Check out her insta here!
